The charcoal making workshop was held as part of “Iyo Studies” class.

Students divided into 4 teams per class took part in the charcoal making workshop. They made stoves in clay to make charcoal, then baked twists made by rolling the paste around the bamboo stick, had a barbecue and made charcoal for ornamental purposes with help of Mr. Tsurumi and university students. Students worked closely with classmates and had a wonderful experience.
