Mr. SATO Hito (12th grader) won a special award at the Brand Manager Contest, hosted by Tobitate! (Leap for Tomorrow) Study Abroad Initiative. Tobitate! is led by Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT) that aims to help all young Japanese eager and capable take the first step toward studying abroad. Mr. SATO got the returnees who had studied abroad involved in the interactive briefing sessions with booths by country, which were set up to introduce their experiences studying abroad. His approaches helped the participants feel more accessible to studying abroad. He also made extensive use of SNS to announce the sessions and it became a great model applicable to other occasions. He was given the award to honor these achievements.
