“Iyo Studies” class was held.

Mr. Ogawa lectured students on the subject “The youth and politics”. In Japan young people aged 18 and over will have voting rights in the near future. The lecturer settled on the subject matter of lowering the minimum age of voting right. Students discussed the pros and cons of a system that will require the registration of political activities for high school students. Students frankly shared each other’s thoughts. In the latter half of the lecture, some contents of world textbooks were introduced. Students learned political activities of young people in foreign countries. Students are going to have voting rights soon, so they were serious about studying it.
