“Iyo Studies” class held.

〇lecturer: Ms. ISHIKAWA Kasumi, Sanyo Bussan CO., LTD.

Ms. Ishikawa of Sanyo Bussan CO., LTD. was invited as a lecturer. First, she introduced the company which sells products abroad as well as in Japan, doing some good in the local community. We feel that the corporate management principle closely parallels the SGH philosophies of our school. The lecturer also told her experiences in her current career as well as job hunting in her university days.
Next, students learned how to communicate with people whose points of view are different through group work that requires thinking hard to talk and guess the meanings of unknown words. Finally, the lecturer emphasized it is important not only to improve English but also to cultivate humanity and mind because English is simply a means to communication.
